This Week In GOG #5

This week in GOG.com, we see the launch of a Sunless Skies inspired writing contest, among releases like the racing game Slipstream, or the formerly PS3 exclusive Flower.

If you don’t know what GOG is, you can check this article out.

Delistings

For some reason, GOG is getting consistent with delistings as it removes Necropolis on the 20th of February at the publisher’s request. If you want to grab it anyway, you have a window of nearly three days, though beware that the game lacks multiplayer and was already abandoned.

Contests

GOG has launched its own Sunless Skies inspired writing contest, with the prizes being a set of three **very limited** pin badges and any item from the Failbetter store. You can check the rules here, and upload your submissions to GOG’s forum

Sales

The 11bit Weekend sale is the soonest to close on the 18th of February and has indie offerings from the publisher, including the Anomaly series and Frostpunk. The current general weekend sale has titles like Cities in Motion, also ending on the same date. Finally, the 2K Games sale is all about the AAA giant’s offerings, most notably the Mafia series, closing on the 25th of February.
